UNAIR NEWS – Sunday (5/2/2023) was the third day of Airlangga Education Expo and the expo organized a sharing session agenda inviting UNAIR students who previously participated in Magang Bersertifikat Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) and Indonesian International Mobility Awards (IISMA) Programs.
Invited in the session, Mohammad Ichsan Verianto, the student of Bachelor of Development Economics was the first speaker to share his experience in MBKM Program at Bank Indonesia as a Data Analyst and Researches. In his opinion, self-motivation is not the only aspect the participants should have prior to joining the program, the real action from the self-motivation is also the most crucial aspect to consider.
Ichsan expressed that thorough preparation both in academic and non-academic aspects is equally important before registering in MBKM Programs. “The most important part to consider about winning the MBKM program regardless the partners for the programs is that to know your self-competence and pair it with the available in the program partners. You should know, is there any available division in the program partners that matches to your competence? and in order to discover your passions or interests, you can actually know it from the first-two-years of your university life through your participation in organization both hosted by your campus or off-campus,” explained him in the session.
