Guidelines for Applying for Semester Leave:
- Semester leave is a legal status of a student permitted by the Rector of Universitas Airlangga not to participate in academic activities for 1 (one) semester.
- In study proses, students are allowed to take academic leave for a maximum of 2 (two) semesters, but not consecutively.
- In certain cases/reasons, the Rector of Universitas Airlangga can grant permission for semester leave for 2 (two) consecutive semesters.
- Semester leave is only given to students who have studied for 4 (four) consecutive semesters for undergraduate (bachelor) and applied undergraduate (4 years Diploma), for two consecutive semesters for diploma (3 years Diploma), masters, and doctors.
- During semester leave students must be in registered/active status.
- The semester leave period does not count in the study period evaluation.
- During semester leave, students are still required to pay for the tuition fee.
